Piccolo Composite Nailing System

     

An innovative interlocking nail made of carbon fiber reinforced composite material for the treatment of fractures of the long bones. This nail's unique material gives it enhanced biomechanical properties, an elasticity module that mimics that of cortical bone and as it is radiolucent, it provides increased ability to monitor union in X-ray, CT and MRI scans.
