Ce-Cure Hip System |
|
A system for the prevention and treatment of femoral neck and intertrochanteric fractures using a composite material implant. This minimally invasive system and procedure enables immediate stable fixation and can also be used for the prevention of osteoporotic or pathological impending femoral fractures.

FEATURES
Innovative percutaneous fixation of femoral neck and intertrochanteric fractures using a composite material implant.
Due to its minimal invasiveness, the system can also be used for the prevention of impending osteoporotic or pathological fractures.
Enables the fixation of pathological fractures.
THE IMPLANT
- A set of titanium rods are inserted percutaneously into a perforated polymer sleeve, followed by the injection of a small amount of bone cement.
- The cement injection allows fixation of the rods and cement interdigitation into the surrounding cancellous bone, contributing to better fixation of the implant in the bone.
- Bending, stiffness and elasticity profile mimics human bone characteristics.

THE PROCEDURE
- A truly percutaneous procedure through a 5mm cannula.
- A channel is created within the bone using a proprietary expandable drill.
- A perforated polymer sleeve is positioned in the channel created, followed by positioning of the rods.
- Cement is injected into the sleeve, minimizing leakage, while enabling controlled interdigitation into the cancellous bone.
PATIENT BENEFITS
- Minimally invasive procedure: entry point of only 5mm.
- Immediate stable fixation.
- Reduced risk of infection.
- Fast rehabilitation.
